Philsan (Philly) Isaak (She/Her/Hers), Legal Fellow, received her J.D. from Yale Law School. During law school, Philly worked in the Lowenstein International Human Rights clinic, primarily to support the mandate of the United Nations Working Group on discrimination against women and girls. There she focused on combating gender inequality and state violence. While at Yale, she also acted as student director of the Schell Center for International Human Rights and Managing Editor of the Yale Journal of International Law.
