Luis Alfonso Plazas Vega is a retired lieutenant colonel in the Colombian army. In November 1985, during the events of the M-19 attack on the Palace of Justice, Plazas Vega was a lieutenant colonel and commander of the Army’s 13th Brigade Cavalry School. He led the military units charged with retaking the Palace of Justice.
Luis Alfonso Plazas Vega es un teniente coronel retirado del ejército colombiano. En noviembre de 1985, durante los hechos del ataque del M-19 al Palacio de Justicia, Plazas Vega era teniente coronel y comandante de la Escuela de Caballería de la Décima Tercera Brigada del Ejército Nacional de Colombia. Dirigió las unidades militares encargadas de retomar el Palacio de Justicia.
