As a small non-profit organization, CJA relies on the help of volunteers and pro-bono professionals who are dedicated to bringing human rights abusers to justice. We offer volunteer opportunities for students or professionals.
Volunteer and Pro Bono Volunteer Opportunities
CJA partners with outside law firms and investigation firms who provide significant pro bono resources to investigate and litigate large and complex cases on behalf of our clients, to help bring our cases to trial and hold human rights abusers accountable. On occasion, we also work with lawyers, non-legal professionals, and other volunteers on a pro bono basis on more limited and discrete projects. This includes appellate work, FOIA, foreign language translation, country monitoring, research, fundraising, marketing, IT/tech, web and graphic design, special event support, and administrative assistance.
