IJDH/BAI
The Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti and the Bureau des Avocats Internationaux are both actively involved with human rights work in Haiti. IJDH works with grassroots human rights organizations in Haiti, gathers and disseminates information about the human rights situation there and helps victims pursue legal claims in Haiti and abroad. BAI, based in Port-au-Prince, helps prosecute human rights cases, trains lawyers and speaks out about justice-related issues.

Haiti Action Committee
The Haiti Action Committee is a San Francisco Bay Area-based network of activists in the U.S. who have supported the Haitian struggle for democracy since 1991. Members have fostered extensive contacts with grassroots movements in Haiti.

Housed at the Boston Medical Center, the Boston Center for Refugee Health and Human Rights provides medical, mental health and dental services to refugees and survivors of torture, as well as social services and legal aid.

The Center for Constitutional Rights works to advance and protect the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Founded in 1966 by attorneys who represented civil rights movements in the South, CCR is a non-profit legal and educational organization committed to the creative use of law as a positive force for social change.
East Bay Sanctuary Covenant
The East Bay Sanctuary Covenant is dedicated to the support, protection, and advocacy of the rights of immigrants and refugees. Formed in 1982, it has grown to reach out to immigrants and refugees from over 30 countries from all over the world.
