Kelsey Waxman, Development and Communications Associate, joined CJA in the Spring of 2016. She previously served as the Egypt Programs Intern at the Project on Middle East Democracy (POMED) in Washington, D.C., where she authored the Egypt Daily Update, a bilingual political and human rights news bulletin. She has also held development and communications internship positions at the Chicago History Museum and the Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago. An alumna of the U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship for Arabic, she holds a B.A. with high honors in History and Arabic Language and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. Ms. Waxman is proficient in Arabic, Hebrew, and French.
